The Pool at Quincy Country Club

The pool at Quincy Country Club is the perfect place for members and their families to relax, unwind, and enjoy the summer season. Designed with comfort, fun, and community in mind, our resort-style pool complex offers a welcoming atmosphere for swimmers of all ages.

Whether you are spending the afternoon poolside with friends, watching the kids splash and play, or enjoying one of our many summer events, the pool is one of the most vibrant gathering spots at the Club. With attentive service, comfortable seating, and convenient access to food and beverages, it’s easy to spend an entire day enjoying everything the pool has to offer.

From family swim days to social events and sunny weekends, the pool at Quincy Country Club is where summer memories are made.


  • Swim Team is available for any child age 6-18 who is able to swim one (1) length of the pool. They should possess the skills for a proficient Freestyle and Backstroke. The strokes that compete are Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle & Backstroke. Swimmers race individually and on relays. Race distances range from 25 yards to 200 yards. The QCC Swim Team is in association with the River Country Swim League. The team averages 40 kids each season. Swim Team is a great way to make friends, improve swim ability & condition for school team competitive swimming.

    The QCC Swim Team competes with Keokuk, Hannibal, Pike County, Pittsfield & other surrounding swim clubs. There are approximately seven (7) competitive meets during the June and July season. There is also the River Country Championship Meet at the end of July. The QCC hosts two to three meets per season.

  • Quincy Country Club Pool Policies & Guidelines

    Welcome to the pool facilities at Quincy Country Club. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly environment for all members and guests, we kindly ask that the following policies and guidelines be observed at all times.

    General Pool Policies

    • No glass containers are permitted anywhere within the pool area or on the pool deck. Members and guests are encouraged to request plastic or metal drinkware from the bar or restaurant.

    • Running, roughhousing, pushing, or unsafe behavior on the pool deck is strictly prohibited.

    • All accidents, injuries, or incidents must be reported immediately to the Lifeguard on Duty or Pool Manager. Examples include falls, scrapes, head injuries, illnesses, or diaper-related accidents.

    • Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing pool safety rules and responding to emergencies. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times.

    • Only authorized staff are permitted in the lifeguard office employees, storage areas, pump rooms, or on lifeguard stands.

    • Pool furniture and lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not reserve chairs for extended periods while absent from the pool area.

    • Appropriate and respectful conduct is expected at all times. Public displays of affection should remain mindful of the family-oriented atmosphere of the club.

    • Alcoholic beverages are permitted in designated pool areas. Members and guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and conduct themselves appropriately.

    • Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are prohibited within the fenced pool area.

    • Proper swim attire is required at all times while swimming in the pool. Street clothing and non-swim attire are discouraged for safety and sanitation reasons.

    Children & Guest Policies

    • Children aged ten (10) through twelve (12) may use the pool without direct adult supervision only if they have successfully completed the club swim test and an emergency contact number is provided to the Pool Manager or Lifeguard on Duty.

    • Children under ten (10) years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian, or responsible individual age sixteen (16) or older.

    • All non-member guests must be registered and accompanied by a sponsoring member in accordance with club guest policies.

    • Children who are not fully toilet-trained must wear approved swim diapers while in the pool.

    • Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children follow all pool rules and staff instructions.

    Swimming & Water Safety

    • During adult lap swim hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM), individuals age seventeen (17) and under are not permitted in lap lanes without approval from the Pool Manager, Swim Coach, or Lifeguard on Duty.

    • Use of starting blocks is strictly prohibited except during organized swim practice, swim meets, or with direct lifeguard authorization.

    • Only one person is permitted on the diving board at a time.

    • Hanging, climbing, or sitting on basketball hoops, fountains, railings, lane lines, or other pool equipment is prohibited.

    • No sitting or climbing in the fountain feature area.

    • Outside flotation devices may be restricted at the discretion of pool staff for safety reasons. Guard-approved life jackets are encouraged for inexperienced swimmers.

    Weather & Emergency Procedures

    • Pool operations may be suspended at any time due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions.

    • Swimming is prohibited during thunderstorms or when lightning is present in the area. The pool will remain closed for a minimum of thirty (30) minutes following the last observed lightning strike or thunder.

    • In the event of an emergency, all members and guests are expected to follow instructions provided by pool staff immediately.

    Courtesy & Club Expectations

    • Please help maintain a clean and welcoming environment by disposing of trash properly and cleaning up personal belongings before departing.

    • Swimsuit coverups are to be worn when exiting the pool and entering the Plaza dining area.

    • Music, speakers, or electronic devices should be kept at a respectful volume so as not to disturb fellow members and guests.

    • Quincy Country Club reserves the right to suspend pool privileges for individuals who fail to comply with club policies or staff direction.
