Course Overview
Quincy Country Club golf operations has everything our members need. The features of the course is tree lined and always in great condition. Unlike some courses in the Midwest, Quincy Country Club has rolling terrain. The grass on the fairways, tees and greens is bent grass. Our course underwent a project in 2008 where we re-grassed the greens with an A-1/A-4 blend of bent grass and we also did a sand trip renovation. With new grasses that are heat resistant and sand traps with new drainage and sand the course is ready for the future.
The Club’s golf calendar includes family events, a junior program with 100 plus kids, couples events, Men’s and Women’s programs, member-guest events for men and women, daily games and Club social events.

Junior Golf Program
Junior Golf is every Tuesday and Friday in June & July from 8:00am-Noon
The program uses a combination of hands-on teaching (practice days) with on-course competitions (play days). Incorporated into the Junior Program is a Club Championship for each age group, as well as a Parent-Child Tournament.
All juniors will be separated loosely into 4 divisions based on age and ability. Players will be moved up or down a division at the instructors’ discretion.

Bag Tag Test
In order for any junior to be unaccompanied on the golf course, they must pass a written test. Upon passing the test, they are issued a Club Bag Tag to display on their bag indicating their privileges. Once a month all candidates will go out on the course with a PGA Professional to receive hands on training for Rule Interpretations. Test will be
administered directly following instruction.
Juniors are encouraged and free to play after their clinic days. On tournament days, juniors will play organized tournaments with prizes awarded to the winners.

*Men and children will not be allowed to tee off before 1:00 p.m. They may start a round after 1:00, but must not tee off on #1 or #10 between 3:30 & 5:30 p.m. After 5:30, the course will again be open to everyone.
**Women and children will not be allowed to tee off on either No. 1 or No. 10 tee after 10:00 a.m.
Golf Shop
From the Golf Pro
The Pro Shop has the ability to meet your every need. It carries clothing brands for juniors, men and women. Men’s brands consist of: Footjoy, Johnnie-O, Vineyard Vines, Sun Mountain, Greg Norman and UnderArmour. Our main Women’s brands are: FootJoy, UnderArmour, Dunning and Vineyard Vines. We have the ability to get all major brands of clubs but focus on 3 brands (TaylorMade, PING and Mizuno) that we feel best serve our membership. We have fitting systems for TaylorMade, Mizuno and PING. Our PGA Professional staff conduct individual lessons, lesson programs, clinics and custom club fittings for the membership.
The golf calendar includes events for juniors, social events, men, women, member-guest’s, and couples. Our junior program consists of Junior Golf in the summer and the PGA Junior League teams that we have. The men’s and women’s programs consist of daily games, championships, match plays and holiday events.
